The Kissing Hand By Audrey Penn, review -annmarie

The Kissing Hand By Audrey Penn

Chester Raccoon does not want to go to school. His mother helps Chester by showing him with the kissing hand that no matter where he is his mother and love is always with him.

I read this story to my 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son. They both loved the story and like me to kiss their hands to go alone with the story.

I felt this story helps its younger readers understand that while school sometimes seems like a scary place your loved ones are always with you. It was a beautiful way of helping children understand real things that are going on in there lives. The story is told in such a way that it’s fun and informative the pictures are clear and kids loved to look at them and most of all it helps with children’s problems.

A beautiful kids book that helps young readers understand their fears in life.

Entangled by Cat Clarke-guest review-Stephanie Ager

Entangled
by Cat Clarke
Entangled is a story about 17 year old Grace, on the day that she is planning on committing suicide she meets a strange boy at the park. She then wakes up in a white room, with pen and paper writing down all the past events that she tries to forget.
At first impressions Grace is a girl that has a few problems and issues with her life. I must admit that I didn’t really take to Grace but then I got to know her and she grew on me. This girl doesn’t have it easy at all, and the minute she feels like things are falling into place the rug is quickly pulled out from under her feet. She craves the attention that a 17 year old deserves and requires; family, love and stability but she doesn’t have these things and Grace is crying out. Grace really grew on me, at first she was a bit annoying but the reader soon realize why. Grace pours out her feelings, and the ending, just blew me away. We’re left on a cliff-hanger but one that satisfies the reader. We really see Grace grow and tell us what her life was like.
A good change in pace and writing style. A good read dealing with today’s economy and teenagers problems.

Flu by Wayne Simmons-Guest review-‎Pam Perkins Mandigo

Pam Perkins Mandigo

Flu by Wayne Simmons
282 pages
Back flap of book.
A Deadly strain of flu has mutated
two cops fight their way through an angry and frightened crowd to gain entry to an apartment block in Belfast. They have received reports of a fresh outbreak of the virus and are met with the bloodshot eyes of a six-year-old Lithuanian girl. She is in the final stages of infection and must be quarantined.
Out on the streets, Geri finds herself looking down the buisiness end of a ski-masked man's revolver. Nearby, hell-bent on self-preservation, the shorn-headed punk Lark peeks out the window of his terraced-house hideout. In neighbouring Finaghy, churchgoer Karen looks to the stoic and level-headed Pat for a paternal figure, seemingly oblivious to his chequered past as an IRA gunrunner. Meanwhile, what remains of the armed forces congregate in a run-down base twenty miles south of Belfast.
As the flu continues to mutate, another phenomenon rocks the very foundation of Belfast.... Infected bodies suddenly begin to rise. Scorned byan angry red sun, the callused brick and mortar of a devasted city plays host to a bitter and bloody struggle between the living and the dead.
Finding its humanity is Belfast's only hope.

My thoughts on Flu
Flu is an ok book. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. The cover will suck you right in if you love Zombie books. For me the book just didn't live up to what I had hoped it would be. It tries to follow to many characters for a short book. Geri one of the women left alive is the best character out of them all. Flu doesn't really have a lot to do with Zombies. They are kind of like background noise. It is more about the characters past lives before the flu and their hunt for food. It starts out about how the Flu started then jumps to months later. I feel if the author had mentioned more about what happened when the flu started and more about the zombies the book would have been better. The ending still leaves you wondering what happens to the zombie filled world. If you’re looking for a book on zombies this isn’t really it. This is more about survival than that.

3 out of 5 stars for Flu

Darkness Falling: The Forever Twilight Series By Peter Crowther-review-annmarie

(for adult readers!)
Darkness Falling: The Forever Twilight Series

In a blink of an eye and a bright flash of light most the human population is gone. When the second flash comes everyone is back but there not the people they used to be.  What well the few remaining people do to stay alive.

I found it a bit hard to get into at first but I stuck with the book and soon found that it was interesting and very different.  There was a lot going on in the book and it changed from one group of character to the next.  I liked the writing style and most of all I really enjoyed the book as a whole. I would say that horror and science fiction fan well really get into this story.  There was lots of twists and turns in the book and the biggest surprise for me was the cars. I would happily read the next book.

I would happily recommend the book to others and I would read the book again.

A spin chilling read that left you wanting more.

Annmarie favorite Quotes

After reading so many books you sometimes notice that some quotes stay with you. This is my list of Quotes that are unforgettable.

Darkest power series by Kelley Armstrong
This series had some of my favorite and funniest Quotes ever.

"Derek caught my arm again as I started to move--at this rate, it was going to be as sore as my injured one.
"Dog," he said, jerking his chin toward the fenced yard. "It was inside earlier."
Expecting to see a Doberman slavering at the fence, I followed his gaze to a little puff of white fur, the kind of dog women stick in their purses. It wasn't even barking, just staring at us, dancing in place.
"Oh, my God! It's a killer Pomeranian." I glanced up at Derek. "It's a tough call, but I think you can take him."
— Kelley Armstrong (The Awakening)

"He pivoted, gaze following me as I crossed to the shower and turned on the cold water, so it would drown out our conversation without steaming up the room.
Great," he muttered."Now they're going to think we're showering together. Maybe we can just tell them we were washing off the crawl space dirt and trying to conserve water."
— Kelley Armstrong (The Summoning)

"He had a newspaper rolled in his hand, bearing down on me like a puppy that had piddled on the carpet.
"Bad Chloe,” I muttered.
"What?”
I’d forgotten his bionic hearing. “Bad Chloe.” I gestured at the rolled-up paper and put
out my hand. “Get it over with."
— Kelley Armstrong (The Awakening)

"So," Simon said. "Looks like you and Derek are getting along again. What happened? Did he give you the look?"
"Look?"
"You know. The one that makes him look like a whipped puppy, and makes you feel like a jerk for doing the whipping."
"Ah, that one. So it works on you, too?"
He snorted. "It even works on Dad. We give in, we tell him it's okay, and the next thing you know, he's chewing up slippers again."
I laughed."
— Kelley Armstrong (The Reckoning)

Ashfall by Mike Mullin
i have only just read this book (review will come later) but some of the Quotes in this book were wicked.

"I felt bad about dirtying their comforter with my nasty clothes, but who knew what might happen later. If something else bizarre went down and I had to run, I sure didn’t want to do it butt naked."
— Mike Mullin (Ashfall)

"But unlike thunder, this didn’t stop. It went on and on, machine-gun style, as if Zeus had loaded his bolts into an M60 with an inexhaustible ammo crate."
— Mike Mullin (Ashfall)

"That whiff of smoke was enough to transform my sithere-trembling terror into get-the-hell-out-of-here terror."
— Mike Mullin (Ashfall)

"I used to think that teachers who gave homework on weekends should be forced to grade papers for an eternity in hell."
— Mike Mullin (Ashfall)

The mortal instruments series by Cassandra Clare
The characters in this series mad me laugh all the time Jace said the funniest things

"Have you fallen in love with the wrong person yet?'
Jace said, "Unfortunately, Lady of the Haven, my one true love remains myself."
..."At least," she said, "you don't have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland."
"Not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Bones)

"Is this the part where you start tearing off strips of your shirt to bind my wounds?"
"If you wanted me to rip my clothes off, you should have just asked."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Bones)

"Don't touch any of my weapons without my permission."
"Well, there goes my plan for selling them all on eBay," Clary muttered.
"Selling them on what?"
Clary smiled blandly at him. "A mythical place of great magical power."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Bones)

"Do you remember back at the hotel when you promised that if we lived, you’d get dressed up in a nurse’s outfit and give me a sponge bath?" asked Jace.
"It was Simon who promised you the sponge bath."
"As soon as I’m back on my feet, handsome," said Simon.
"I knew we should have left you a rat."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Bones)

"Well, I’m not kissing the mundane," said Jace. "I’d rather stay down here and rot."
"Forever?" said Simon. "Forever’s an awfully long time."
Jace raised his eyebrows. "I knew it," he said. "You want to kiss me, don’t you?"
— Cassandra Clare (City of Ashes)

"Is this the part where you say if I hurt her, you'll kill me?"
"No" Simon said, "If you hurt Clary she's quite capable of killing you herself. Possibly with a variety of weapons."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Glass)

"Can I help you with something?"
Clary turned instant traitor against her gender. "Those girls on the other side of the car are staring at you."
Jace assumed an air of mellow gratification. "Of course they are," he said, "I am stunningly attractive."
— Cassandra Clare (City of Bones)

The morganville vampire series by Rachel Caine
This is one of my favorite series ever. There is so much to like about it and im always waiting for the next book to come out.

"Damn, Claire. Warn a guy before you do a face-plant on the floor next time. I could have looked all heroic and caught you or something -Shane"
— Rachel Caine (Glass Houses)

"Scoot over, man. I don't like you that much."
Dick. That's not what you said last night."
Bite me."
— Rachel Caine (Glass Houses)

"But that quickly faded, and he frowned. "You're bleeding," he said. "What happened?"
Claire sighed and held up her wrist to show him the bandage. "Man, you would be so embarrassed if I said it was something else." Michael looked blank. "I'm a girl, Michael, it could have been all natural, you know. Tampons?"
— Rachel Caine (Midnight Alley)

"Claire stretched out against the wall and kissed it. "Glad to see you, too," she whispered, and pressed her cheek against the smooth surface. It almost felt like it hugged her back.
"Dude, it's a house," Shane said from behind her. "Hug somebody who cares."
— Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule)

"Better be," Eve said. She mock-bit at his finger. "I could totally date somebody else, you know."
"And I could rent out your room."
"And I could put your game console on eBay."
"Hey," Shane protested. "Now you're just being mean."
— Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule)

"You're still here. No beer. I'm not corrupting a minor."
But YOU'RE a minor," she pointed out. "At least for beer."
Yeah, and by the way, how much does it suck that I'm an adult if I kill somebody, and I'm not if I want a beer?"
— Rachel Caine (Glass Houses)

"Eve: She told me last!
Shane: Boyfriend!
Michael: Landlord!
Eve: Crap. Right. Next time you sell your soul to the devil, I get first contact!"
— Rachel Caine (Midnight Alley)

"No, not you two. Stay here."
"Does he just not get how unfair and sexist that is?" Eve asked. "Men."
"You really want to go first?"
"Of course no. But I'd like the chance to refuse to go first."
— Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule)

"What about Myrnin?"
Eve swallowed, almost choked, and Michael patted her kindly on the back. She beamed at him. "Myrnin? Oh yeah. He did a Batman and took off into the night. What is with that guy, Claire? If he was a superhero, he'd be Bipolar Man."
— Rachel Caine

"Bishop was all done with the witty converstaion. "Will you swear?"
And Myrnin said, shockingly, "I will." And he proceeded to, a string of swearwords that made Claire blink. He ended with, "--frothy fool-born apple-john! Cheater of vandals and defiler of dead dogs!" and did another twirl and bow. He looked up with a red, red grin that was more like a leer. "Is that what you meant, my lord?"
— Rachel Caine (Feast of Fools)

"I'll do it!"
"No, you won't," Shane and Michael said, at virtually the same time. Shane continued. "You're barely on your feet, Claire. You don't go anywhere, not without me."
"And me," Michael said.
"Hell," Eve sighed. "I guess that means I have to go, too. Which I may not ever forgive you for, even if I don't die horribly."
— Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule)

chronicles of nick by Sherrilyn kenyon
this series is simple the best some of the funnies Quotes ever i just love Nick.

"Well, someone slap my butt and give me a hero cookie. (Nick)"
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Infinity)

"How can this be your car? (Nick)
Well, I wrote a really big check that didn’t bounce to the dealer and then the most amazing thing happened…the salesman gave me the keys and let me take it home. It was like magic. (Acheron)"
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Infinity)

"Is he a good boy? (Cherise)
No, Mom, he’s Satan incarnate. In fact, once it’s over, we’re going to get liquored up and tattooed, then find some cheap hos and have a good time with his trust fund. (Nick)"
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Infinity)

"Not half as much as I’d miss me if you killed me. (He blinked like a girl and leaned against Ash’s shoulder.) Please don’t hurt me, Ash. Please. I don’t want to die while I’m still a virgin. At least let me get laid before you kill me – which according to my mom I can’t do until I’m married and I can’t do that until I finish college. So you have to wait a good ten years before you snuff me. Deal? (Nick)"
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Infinity)

"Without a word or hesitation, Pain took the mop from Nick. Suffering moved to pick up glass.
"Wow. Where have you two been all my life?"
Pain quirked and eyebrow as he mopped the floor.
"Walking hand in hand with you. Haven't you noticed?"
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Invincible)

"Grim sighed heavily. "I swear I'm getting a migraine."
"My mom suffers from those a lot, too."
"Being around you, I imagine she does."
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Invincible)

"They say when you're about to die, you see your entire life flash before your eyes.
They lied.
The only thing Nick Gautier could see flashing was Kyrian Hunter's vampire fangs."
— Sherrilyn Kenyon (Invincible)

Join Emily astride the magnificent winged-stallion, Pegasus, as she embarks on a new flight of adventure through worlds both old and new. A must for fans of Percy Jackson

review

Continuing the story from the first book Emily wants to rescue her dad from the hands of the government.
Emily and her band of friends set off but don't relies the true danger there in.
Full of action and adventure in a breath taking story that you don't want to end.

I zoomed through the book in one seating. The book is so well written and the characters so easy to love and read about. Emily's adventures in these books are exciting and leave you feeling like your on a roller coaster ride. I felt like i was holding my breath the whole way through hoping that everything would turn out ok.

This book has action and adventure fantasy and myth all packed into one book.
it was a fast read with lots in the book to keep younger and older readings interested in the book.
I would happily recommend this book to others

guest post - Aaron Tate-young adult author

Tagline:  Three teens race to unlock clues, ciphers and riddles before a greedy corporation beats them to a clean, renewable energy source that will change the world.

Overview:  The SoNaR Adventure series is the only juvenile code-based series to focus on science and modern issues rather than history.  With its focus on today’s issues and puzzles based on the major scientific concepts, Cold Secrets and the SoNaR Adventure series holds worldwide appeal for YA and adult readers.  The SoNaR Adventure books proves that being smart is cool.

The Author:  About two years ago, Aaron C. Tate was watching his 7th grade students working together in cooperative groups. He knows firsthand how much young people can get done when they work together, and the idea for team SoNaR started to ferment. Aaron added his own breadth of scientific knowledge, his fascination with treasure-hunt stories, and just the right amount of danger to create Cold Secrets.
Aaron has been a middle-school educator for nearly ten years. His experience includes high school-level instruction, sponsorship of chess and science clubs and science fairs, and the development of a S.T.E.M. elective course. As a member of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, Aaron is well respected by his peers. His respect extends to his students, who selected him for a Teacher Appreciation award in 2009.
As a life-long educator, Aaron can’t conceive of a time when he might give up teaching. Although his novels integrate high-stakes plots with exciting challenges, they also teach readers new and unusual facts about different science concepts. Cosmology, biology, the environment and energy blend into clean, educational, family style stories. Aaron hopes to create a series that will be as popular with after-school groups as it will be in the commercial market.
He is also considering writing a nonfiction book about cross-curricular lessons any teacher can implement. This project may be written with teachers from different departments at his current school. For now, Aaron is developing the second novel in the SoNaR Adventure series and is building the SoNaR website.

Audience:  Cold Secrets will appeal to Gen Y or Millennials, the largest demographic group in America second only to boomers. Teens and preteens are buying books in numbers unseen before, making it a strong target audience for publishers.
Adults will form a second large audience for the SoNaR Adventure series. Parents of teens and preteens often read what their kids do; twenty- and thirtysomethings who are shopping more often in the YA section add to this group’s numbers.

Synoposis: Team SoNaR Has Been Invited On The Quest Of A Lifetime!

Maddy Rutherford and her two best friends (Corbyn and Aaden Franklin) have been invited on a scientific quest whose origins date back 50 years! Together, this team of 3 brave teens (affectionately known as “team SoNaR”) accepts the challenges placed before them without knowing the dangers that lie ahead in doing so.

Before they know it, all three members of team SoNaR are thrust into an adventure beyond their wildest imaginations! With the aid of valuable allies, and while avoiding those that will attempt to stand in their way, Maddy, Corbyn, and Aaden must work together to solve puzzles and decipher clues, all in an attempt to inherit a secret that will change the world forever.
With their friendship, and lives, on the line, can the members of team SoNaR solve the challenges of the inheritance quest so that they might become heir to the most important secret known to modern man?

Thank you,

Aaron C. Tate, M.A.

kindle review.

kindle
As most of you know last weekend i got a kindle in the post. As a big reader and paper back fan i was a bit worried about getting a kindle. Reasons being i did not want my kindle to replace the thousands of books i already had so i thought i would give you a post letting you know how i have been getting on.

After charging and getting some eBooks for my device i put my paper back away (gold compass) and read my first eBook on my kindle. Which was virtue by Amanda hocking. I found that i could read a lot faster and that my eyes did not sting after hours of reading of my device. While i love my kindle it will never replace the feel and my love for a real book. I guess that sounds funny and weird but nothing can replace the smell of books or seeing you collection build.
While a kindle saves space and is handy to take out not only that there is a lot of good books that are only available on kindle so it was well worth the money.

i give the kindle 5 stars.

celeste interview, ednah walters betrayed book tour

Alice:  Celeste, thanks for agreeing to this interview.
Celeste (Dressed in pink and black striped tights under her black shorts, white top and black combat boots, she shrugs, her hands deep in her front pockets):
That’s okay. I was on my way to see Gavyn anyway, so….
Alice:  How is he doing?
Celeste shakes her head, takes a seat across from Alice and slouches in her seat, her jet black hair flowing over the arm of her chair.
Alice (grimacing):  Oh, I’m sorry I brought him up.
Celeste (sighs): You don’t have to apologize. I just don’t feel like discussing what he’s doing right now. He’s so stubborn, so…argh!
Alice:  You really love him, don’t you?
Celeste (rolls her eyes): Of course. My brothers are all I have. Gavyn may have his issues, but he wasn’t always this…difficult, and Bran wasn’t always anal about doing the right thing. Growing up, they were just my annoying older brothers, goofing around, competing with each other.

Alice (leans forward): Even on Coronis Island?  I heard their life was difficult.
Celeste (shrugs): But we had our moments…the four of us.

Alice (frowns): The four of you?
Celeste (nods): Gavyn, Bran, me and our father.

Alice: Oh.

Celeste (smiles): It’s okay. I miss Dad, but I’m lucky to have my brothers. They may not see things the same way or approve of the choices I’ve made, but they love me.

Alice: I like your attitude. So what is it like having a brother like Bran?
Celeste (rolls her eyes): A nightmare. He’s pushy, thinks he knows everything, and… No, he pissed me off before I came here, so I’m being unfair. Bran is great, a bit overprotective, which comes handy when I have a lame date, but sucks when he dislikes my friends. You have no idea how impossible he can be. Can you believe he slammed the door on my friend’s face a few hours ago? All because the guy didn’t know him and asked who he was (rolls her eyes again).
Alice: A Guardian boyfriend?
Celeste (giggles): Human. I like human guys better. Bran thinks I mess with their heads.
Alice: Do you?
Celeste (stares at Alice with innocent eyes, but her mouth twitches): No.

Alice (leans forward): You can tell me. I won’t tell. You mess with their heads a little.

Celeste (giggles): No, I don’t. Guys are just so easy.

Alice (laughs): So true. Back to Bran. Does he have a temper?

Celeste: Oh yeah. Then his eyes glows and he throws things around. Lil is the only one who can calm him down. All she has to do is touch him. It’s very interesting and weird how they connect.

Alice: How do you react when he loses his temper?
Celeste (wrinkles her nose): I leave the room. I can’t deal with him or Gavyn when they’re going at it. I hate fights.
Alice (nods):  Me too. What do you think of Lil?
Celeste (smiles):  She’s amazing and so powerful it’s scary but you wouldn’t know it looking at her. She’s so cool, except when she’s pissed. Then I’ve got to go. Even Bran can’t calm her down. He said he used to but not lately. Weird.

Alice:  What do you think of their relationship?
Celeste (sighs): It’s amazingly normal. I mean they love each other and would do anything for each other, but they fight too. I’m talking about a full blown fight with yelling and doors slamming. Then the next second, they’re making up. Bran hates it when she’s mad at him, but it’s usually his fault. He is very intense about everything while Lil is laid back. It takes him forever to warm up to people while Lil makes friends fast. They’re perfect for each other, or like she likes to say, the yin and the yang.
Alice (consulting her notes):  Are you and Lil close?
Celeste (wrinkles her nose):  Yeah. She’s, like, my sister.

Alice:  Can you give us any secrets about Bran that we don’t know about?
Celeste (scrunches her face):  Hmmm, he keeps a journal and is very secretive about where he hides it, but I’ve peeked at it a few times. (rolls her eyes) He writes about everything—Lil, Gavyn back to Lil, being a Cardinal…back Lil. He’s lucky she loves him back or I’d really feel sorry for him. He’s, like, so crazy about her.

Alice:  Do you like any of the guys? Sykes?
Celeste (giggles):  He’s hot, isn’t he? I’d never date him though. One, Bran would kill me then him, or the other way round. Second, Sykes is never serious about anything. And third, he has a crush on Lil the size of the Grand Canyon, which pisses off my brother. I had a crush on Remy for a while but he hardly noticed. I’ve decided to stick to human guys. The way their minds work is fascinating.
Alice: Don’t you mean the way you make them do your bidding?
Celeste (grins): I told you, I don’t.

Alice:  Yeah, right. What do you do in your spare time?
Celeste:  Hang out with friends, play video games and watch movies.
Alice: Shopping?
Celeste (makes a face): I hate shopping.
Alice (eyes wide): No way.
Celeste: Yes way. I buy whatever catches my eye and mix and match. Some people have issues with that, but I don’t care. This is me (indicates her striped tights, shorts and boots).

Alice:  I like that. You’re your own person and don’t conform. What’s it like having your powers?
Celeste:  Cool. Before I hated it because it was so unpredictable, and half the time, inaccurate. Now that I’m training, I love it.

Alice: Do you have any favourite memories you would like to share?

Celeste:  My first birthday party. Our mother didn’t believe in celebrating birthdays. Lil and Bran threw one for me when I turned sixteen, right after I was rescued from Coronis Isle. It was my first birthday party ever and the first time I met the other teen Guardians (she makes a face).

Alice:  I heard about you and Kim.

Celeste (shakes her head): I swore not to bad mouth anyone, so… (Pretends to zip her lips)

Alice (smiles): Can you tell us what’s next for the guardians?
Celeste (shakes her head):  I’m not really a member of the Teen Cardinals Team, but I know they’re busy canceling the contracts Bran signed when he worked for Coronis. Even our narrator, Ednah, doesn’t know how that is going. They keep telling her stuff in bits and pieces, so if you read her next book, you’ll know whether they finish saving those poor souls. (stands up) I really need to go now. Gavyn is expecting me and if I’m late he’ll start to worry. It’s been nice talking to you.
Alice: No, the pleasure was mine. Thanks you.

James Vallesteros Guest Post with Giveaway

Please welcome james to the blog, welcome james and thank you for coming today

I remember as a kid, I would always doodle on paper with silly drawings of my favorite cartoon characters. I penciled likenesses of Bart Simpson, Ninja Turtles, Garfield, Fred Flinstones, Scooby-Doo and so on. When I was turning 10 years old, I really got into comics. Not just reading them but trying to draw how the artists would draw these larger-than-life characters. In the sixth grade, all my friends were basically into comics and drawing. We loved it so much that we created our own super-hero and even made a 20 page homemade comic book. I continued to draw until I got into college. I got me a full-time job and found myself not having enough free time to do what I loved to do. I unknowingly placed my pencils and papers away and almost forgot the joys of drawing. After about 10 years later, I began to draw again. To my surprise I managed to retain the skills I learned as a kid. With this new age of computer animation, I bought my selft a pen/tablet to create drawings on a computer screen. I discovered the joys of drawing all over again. Also, I have matured in choices of my drawing subject and I began drawing characters from novels. This direction provided me with all the possibilities because I am basing my drawing of a character from descriptions in a book. Yes it is a bit more challenging but seeing how you interpret an author’s character on paper is something truly amazing. It is a rush that I get when I have translated an image in my head onto a visual medium for all to see.
