the lost prince by julie kagawa. *review by alice*

The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

wow julie kagawa is a master author. i may not have been in the fey world for about a year but its as if i have never left the nevernever. the characters that we all remember are still there, may be a few years since the iron knight but it hasnt changed one bit except now its about ethan, and boy is he a wicked main character. i thought julies voice as meghan was good, but she certainly knows how to write as a male lead :)

i hate to say to much about books that are in a series, expecially if people havent read the previous books, and even tho this is a new series it does have elements and characters from the iron fey series. all i will say is, i devoured this book in one sitting and now im patiently waiting for the next one. the secret that kenzie was hiding just blew my mind, never thought that would be what she was hiding from ethan. if you want to know what it is, then i suggest you pick up this masterpiece of a series :) julie is the best in the world of fey, for me no one comes close.

im now going to be anxiously awaiting the next book in this series to see what happens next for ethan and the rest of the characters.

This is not that world.

Filled with heartbreak and beauty, secrets and impossible choices, Days of Blood & Starlight finds Karou and Akiva on opposing sides as an age-old war stirs back to life.

Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill
Meant to be or not meant to be . . . that is the question.

It's one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she's queen of following rules and being prepared. That's why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that's also why she's chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB ("meant to be").

But this spring break, Julia's rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she's partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.

Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

Caught between the plague-ridden mainland and the advancing pirates, Thomas and his friends fight for survival in the battered remains of a mysterious abandoned settlement. Sweet Venom (Medusa Girls #1) by Tera Lynn Childs review -annmarie-

Grace just moved to San Francisco and is excited to start over at a new school. The change is full of fresh possibilities, but it’s also a tiny bit scary. It gets scarier when a minotaur walks in the door. And even more shocking when a girl who looks just like her shows up to fight the monster.

Gretchen is tired of monsters pulling her out into the wee hours, especially on a school night, but what can she do? Sending the minotaur back to his bleak home is just another notch on her combat belt. She never expected to run into this girl who could be her double, though.

Greer has her life pretty well put together, thank you very much. But that all tilts sideways when two girls who look eerily like her appear on her doorstep and claim they're triplets, supernatural descendants of some hideous creature from Greek myth, destined to spend their lives hunting monsters.

These three teenage descendants of Medusa, the once-beautiful gorgon maligned by myth, must reunite and embrace their fates in this unique paranormal world where monsters lurk in plain sight.

Review
What can i say about this book to help you understand how flipping wicked it was, let's start from the beginning  I have had this book setting on my self for so long but never got around to reading it, I have no idea why though. I was going though are really bad patch where i could not read any books that i picked up so on the point of giving up i find this book calling to me and once i started i just could not stop.

For the start of the book you are given a great grasp of all the characters and what makes them tick and i felt like i really knew the characters as the book went along. There are three very different sisters that are brought up three different ways with no idea that they are triplets and what there future holds for them. It was a book about family, lives and secrets i loved following and uncovering the truth and how it must feel to have zero control over you live when its predestined by the gods. i was gripped to the point that it pained me to put the book down and have to sleep but i zoomed through and hated the book to end and me to feel like i needed more.

The book was over flowing with action all the way though with drama of all kids and a simply one of a kind storyline that left you wanting more.

Also include lots of well detailed smelly monsters that want to kill you just brilliant.
